Hope: Can we listen to music?
Dad: You didn't say the magic word.
Hope: Is it 'carrots'?
Hope: Why are daddy's called husbands?
Hope: I just saw a cool trash can. It was AWESOME!
After a brief chat with our neighbor he leaves in his car and Hope says: Why does that guy have to buzz off?
Tonight Hope insisted that I tuck her under all 5 of her blankets. After lying there for a minute she said: Momma, I don't like this pillow. It makes my head all sweaty.
Mom: Well, it's probably because you have 5 blankets on you.
Hope shakes her head: That's not true.
Hope: I'm gonna hit this city. (She really likes Tik Tok by Ke$ha and she randomly said this while in the car. I know, I need to start having her listen to primary songs exclusively.)
Hope: Why were you nice to that man?
Mom: You should be nice to everyone.
Hope: You weren't nice last night at dinner.
